Patty was fabulous. She took time to find out what kinds of things I like to photograph, and those were the areas she took me too. She had great tips and hints to make my photos better. I also liked that after I took a photo, she would look at it with me and explain what she saw. And then she helped me to take it again to make it even better. I loved the instant feedback / assistance. This was a great activity and I would do it again if we ever get back there!
We booked this adventure as part of our bachelorette weekend. We wanted something fun and non traditional. We have all been to St. Augustine a million times, but this trip felt like we were experiencing it for the first time. We had such a wonderful experience touring the streets and back roads. We explored a secret garden, and watched a super cool street band. Our host even rallied up a pirate, Henri, who was such a character! He had us dying in laughter and made for some really awesome photos and some unforgettable memories. He truly was a hoot and a great addition to our party. I highly recommend this experience!
The photography walkabout with Patricia was great. Ours was a morning tour with generally harsh light that can occasionally make for uninteresting pictures. Patricia, though had a number of great suggestions on how to use shadows to make interesting pictures of the historic buildings in St Augustine. The background information on the city's history put our tour in great perspective.
Patricia was wonderful. She explained how to pay attention to framing and perspective while taking photos. This was for my bachelorette weekend and she had the idea to meet up with Henri, the pirate. We got some great pictures with my group of girls, and we had a lot of fun with Patricia and Henri. She showed us some hidden spots in St. Augustine that not many locals even know about. Thank you! We had a great time, learned more about photography and got some wonderful pictures out of it.
Patricia first took time to teach me how to use apps to help me edit my photos. We then walked all over the streets of St. Augustine, stopping for her to show me what to look for in a picture. She helped me realize that not every scene is photographic. She also told me a lot of the history of St. Augustine. She helped me see things through my cell-phone camera that I had never visualized before. Patricia was a great teacher and friend.
